What We Support
Freedom. This means keeping the government out of our private lives and personal choices.
Safety. We want everyone to have a sense of safety in our community. This includes well-funded libraries, which are a resource proven to reduce crime and strengthen public safety by providing supervised, resource-rich spaces for youth and vulnerable residents.
The right to thrive. Every person in our community deserves fair pay, affordable food and housing, access to trustworthy schools and educational opportunities, and strong community resources so they and their families can grow and thrive.
What We Oppose
Authoritarianism. Today’s authoritarians are banning books and access to healthcare, attacking unions, trying to overturn elections, and rigging the rules so the wealthy always win.
Unfair economic burdens. We oppose taxes, fees, and large developments that raise costs without local accountability or community input and that threaten local resources and jobs, especially when they benefit only top earners instead of the broadercommunity.
Disrespect to community voice. We oppose rushed, behind‐closed‐doors decisions or vague communication that keeps people in the dark about higher costs, service cuts, or long‐term impacts to our community until it’s too late to weigh in.
